Salon owner conducts ‘surgery’ on woman’s ear after infection, booked by police

According to the complainant, Puja, the accused, Jyoti Narula, treated her right ear loop for a piercing infection for three months “with her personal prescription”.

The Gurgaon police Saturday booked a salon owner in New Colony for allegedly conducting a surgery-like procedure that resulted in a customer losing her ear pinna last year.

According to the complainant, Puja, the accused, Jyoti Narula, treated her right ear loop for a piercing infection for three months “with her personal prescription”.

“About a year ago, the lower part of the right ear of the complainant was completely destroyed due to the wrong treatment of the accused. When the complainant complained to the accused, she first assured her of immediate treatment,” stated the First Information Report (FIR) filed on orders of a Gurgaon trial court.
